Description 
The Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board is accepting applications for a PERMANENT FULL TIME SUPERVISOR, HEALTH CARE SERVICE COORDINATORS in the Health Care Services department.

Under the direction of the Manager, Health Care Services, the supervisor provides training, advice and direction to the health care services coordinators; manages the delivery of health care services by reviewing and analyzing file information to determine the types of service required for injured workers; makes the appropriate referrals and monitors to completion; and acts as a liaison between care providers and case managers.  The supervisor resolves problems and provides direction to health care coordinator staff on new or complex files.

The role includes contact and liaison with injured workers, primary health care practitioners, treatment centres and health care providers.

The supervisor also performs administrative functions such as creating and maintaining databases, generating statistical reports, monitoring assessment team reports, composing and transcribing documents and issuing standard form letters.

This position will also be of interest to experienced Health Information Management Practitioners, LPN's,  RN's or Kinesiologists who possess demonstrated supervisory skills and medical office experience.  Candidates will be required to complete testing to verify office skills.

Individuals with a one year post secondary office education course, 35 wpm net keyboarding, completion of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology and four additional health care classes, minimum of one year medical office experience, demonstrated computer skills, knowledge of the provincial health care system and a minimum of one year supervisory experience will also qualify for this opportunity.


Salary range:  $44,679 - $57,062 per year
